A suburb of Tel Aviv in Israel is using DNA analysis of dog droppings to reward and punish pet owners. Dog owners have been asked to take their pets to the local vet who will collect a DNA sample.
Owners who place their dogs' droppings in special bins will be eligible for rewards of pet food and dog toys, while any droppings that are not collected will be matched through the DNA database and owners could earn a fine.
A lucky cat in the U.S. owes one of its nine lives to a firefighter who revived it with mouth-to-mouth resucitation. The firefighter carried the cat from the burning apartment and then performed mouth-to-mouth when he realised it needed air.
Also saved were two dogs, a ferret and several pet frogs.

September 23 - October 22
Libra dogs are very political and are determined to fight for equality. You believe that if you have to sleep on the floor, then so should your owner! However, you are also very generous and affectionate, and for that reason you are a treasured family member.
Look forward to discovering a new walking track and make sure to take plenty of naps. Dozing in the afternoon sun is recommended. Be yourself and enjoy the coming summer months!

Scorpio dogs like to believe that they are the perfect pet. But while they can be stubborn and head strong, they wear their hearts on their tails and are always ready for a cuddle.
